Important: Dynamic Island is a utility app that displays a floating Dynamic Island-style overlay for notifications, calls, media, battery, timers, gestures, and customization. The app is designed to process required information on your device for these features.
1. Who we are
The app name is Dynamic Island. For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact us at shameemramzan4732@gmail.com.
2. Information the app may process
Depending on the features you enable and permissions you grant, the app may process the following categories of information on your device:
| Category | Purpose | Storage/Sharing |
|---|---|---|
| Notification information | To show notification previews, app names, icons, and quick actions inside the island. | Used locally for display. We do not sell notification content. We do not intentionally upload your notification content to our own server. |
| Media session information | To show currently playing media, such as title, artist, artwork, and supported controls. | Used locally for the island feature. |
| Call state information | To display supported incoming or ongoing call states and related actions where Android allows. | Used locally for display and interaction. |
| Battery and charging status | To show charging animation, battery percentage, and low-battery style alerts. | Used locally for display. |
| Timer and app settings | To save your chosen modules, themes, island size, opacity, borders, gestures, and timer preferences. | Stored locally on your device unless a third-party SDK separately processes data as described below. |
| Advertising and device data | To show ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and comply with advertising requirements when Google Mobile Ads / AdMob is included. | Processed by Google and advertising partners according to their own policies and your consent choices where required. |
| Crash and diagnostic information | To detect crashes, improve app stability, and fix technical issues if crash reporting or analytics tools are included. | May be processed by the relevant service provider if enabled in the app build. |
3. Permissions used by the app
The app may request permissions only when needed for specific features:
- Draw over other apps / overlay permission: used to display the floating island above other apps.
- Notification access: used to read supported notification metadata and display it in the island.
- Accessibility Service: used only when needed for enhanced interactions, gesture responsiveness, or overlay controls. It is not used to read, store, or share personal screen content for unrelated purposes.
- Battery optimization exemption: requested only to help the floating island continue working smoothly in the background.
- Post notifications: used on supported Android versions where the app needs to show its own service or status notifications.
You can disable permissions at any time from Android Settings. Some features may stop working if required permissions are disabled.
4. How we use information
- To provide and maintain Dynamic Island features.
- To show live notifications, media, calls, timers, and battery states.
- To save your preferences and customization settings.
- To improve stability, diagnose crashes, and maintain app performance.
- To show ads and comply with advertising requirements when ads are enabled.
- To respond to support requests sent to our contact email.
5. Advertising, AdMob, and consent
Dynamic Island may use Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads to show ads. Google and its partners may collect or process data such as device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and other information needed for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and compliance.
Where required by law, including in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or other applicable regions, the app may show a consent message for personalized ads and related processing. You may be able to manage ad consent choices inside the app or through device settings, depending on the implementation and region.
6. Third-party services
The app may use third-party services for ads, analytics, crash reporting, app distribution, or device platform functionality. These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. Common examples may include Google Play services, Google Mobile Ads / AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics if they are included in the app build.
We recommend reviewing Google’s Privacy Policy and the privacy disclosures shown in the Google Play Data safety section for this app.
7. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share or allow processing of information only in these cases:
- With service providers required to operate ads, analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, or platform services.
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
- To protect the app, users, security, rights, and safety.
- With your consent or at your direction.
8. Data retention
App settings and preferences may remain on your device until you delete them, reset the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Notification, media, battery, call, and timer data used for live display is intended to be temporary and feature-related. Third-party services may retain data according to their own retention policies.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and managing app permissions carefully.
10. Children’s privacy
Dynamic Island is not directed to children under 13 and is not designed as a children’s app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at shameemramzan4732@gmail.com so we can review and take appropriate action.
11. International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own through third-party services such as advertising, analytics, or crash reporting providers. Data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
12. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You can contact us at shameemramzan4732@gmail.com. You can also control many app-related permissions directly from Android Settings.
- Disable Notification Access to stop notification-based island previews.
- Disable Overlay permission to stop the floating island from appearing above other apps.
- Disable Accessibility Service if you do not want enhanced interaction support.
- Clear app data or uninstall the app to remove local app preferences.
- Manage ad personalization through Android/Google settings where available.
13. Data safety disclosure guidance
The Google Play Data safety section must accurately match the app’s actual behavior and SDKs included in the production build. If the app uses AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or any other SDK, include the data categories those SDKs collect or share in Play Console. If you add or remove SDKs later, update both this Privacy Policy and the Data safety section.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
